You have a base plate connection and you want to add a concrete element and have the model role call out as grout; however, the model role grout does not exist in the Advance Steel Management Tool database.
Simply open the Advance Steel Management Tools accessible from the Home or Tools tab.
Open the Object property Editor option from the Advance Steel Management Tool
Scroll to the Model roles option and expand the flyout adjacent to the text.
Select the Concrete foundation, then select the New button.
Name the model role accordingly. For the example below Grout is used. The group chosen for this example is “All concrete objects. When completed, select the Apply button in the lower right corner of the window in the right. Remember to “Load Settings in Advance” from the Default category and Update Defaults back in the model structure.
The result shows a grout Model role has been added to the Concrete slab element.
