1-Open the Advance Steel Management Tools and select the Bolts category
2-Select the flyout adjacent to the Bolt text
3-Scroll to the A325T bolt, by default the Parameters tab will be displayed.
4-Use the Copy from button that is associated with the Grade parameter. Choose the same bolt values.
5-Select the material grade that had a bolt configuration assigned to it. In this circumstance, it is the 10.9 steel grade.
Diameter and names of bolt assembly parameters remain greyed out as they are not relevant here.
6- Hit the Apply button to save the settings.
By default, the Management Tools will revert the page appearance back to the old steel grade which is for this exercise 10.9.
The bolt configurations did not disappear after hitting the apply button!
To see the new steel grade added to this A325T 0’01/2” bolt, Select the upper left checkbox next to the Grade parameter and expand the drop-down list to view the Available Steel grades.
7-Hit the Apply button in the lower right corner of the second window.
9-Select the Home option go to the Defaults
category
10-Load Settings in Advance.
The result of the changes. Steel grade A325 has been added to the existing A325T bolt type.
