Using Queries to create drawings, NC, DXF, BOMs and Lists in Advance Steel

Did you know you can use queries in relation to numbering, creating drawings, NC, DXF, BOMs and Lists?

You can save queries by selecting the save button. When you select Ok the objects are marked in  your chosen color marking.

The beams can be selected by right clicking on the text, selecting “Execute.”The beams will be highlighted in the preferred color.

Use the “Select marked objects tool.”  to select the elements.

 Once the beams are selected, you can use the query to detail them, create NC files, DXF, BOMs etc…
 You can create Extracts based on the created Queries and use them to create External BOMs.
